Josh Farmer & Chase Bowers: Refuge Retreat Stories

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
— Psalm 46:1-3

In this episode of the Storied Outdoors, we are joined by Chase Bowers, Pastor of Temple Bible Church in Texas and Josh Farmer, Regional Church Relations Manager for Compassion International as they recap some of the adventures they shared with Brad this summer at the Refuge in Wyoming. They recall stories of horseback riding, fly fishing and harrowing tales of near misses and close calls. We excavate what sabbath means for a pastor and Josh tells about the meaningful work Compassion International is doing across the globe. This episode is chock-full of funny stories, and tall tales from a fantastic trip out west. We know you will enjoy hearing from Chase and Josh in this episode.

If you enjoy the Storied Outdoors, be sure to share it with a friend, give us a like, a favorite, and a share. We are so grateful that you were joining us on this journey, and we would love for more people to join alongside us as well.
