Steve Davis: Founder Of “On River Time.”

Steve Davis knows first hand what it's like to grow up as a kid who experienced trauma. So, it was no surprise to many when he started a nonprofit, On River Time, in 2012, that helps kids who have survived abuse and neglect find clarity about their past and see the future God has for them. Coupled with his love of fly fishing, Steve and the incredible volunteers and staff at On River Time use fly fishing as "a means of connecting with each child." Steve's story is incredible and we are so thankful that he shared it with us on this episode of The Storied Outdoors. Be sure to follow them on the links below. And check out Steve's book as well, Picking Butter Beans.

“On River Time works to interrupt the cycle of abuse and neglect. Through your partnership and our life-affirming programming, we can change the trajectory of kids’ lives. Join us and let them know they aren’t defined by their past. They have a future filled with hope.”
